If you are in the tri-state area and need a mini vacation that is less than an hour away – Delaware City is the place to go. This piece was secondary to the Fort Delaware piece I shot with Tony – Fort Delaware is an old haunted military fort on an island off of Delaware. (I had a paranormal experience, but that’s for another post.)
Crabby Dick’s is literally across the street from Fort Delaware in the old Delaware City Hotel (which is also haunted o_o). They are a sassy restaurant serving yummy food.
From phl17.com:
Crabby Dick’s is an all-American seafood restaurant in historic Delaware City. General Manager, Ryan Campor, takes us through the history of the restaurant, including the story behind the building itself, which is the original Delaware City Hotel from 1826. Chef Jimmy Johnson talks food, and we learn about the “spirits” the restaurant and bar have to offer. Crabby Dick’s is located walking distance from Fort Delaware – a fun little getaway, only a short drive away!
