This trip to England was the first time Steve and I traveled outside of the country together. We didn’t know what we were doing and ended up staying a week in an “easy hotel” which was the cheapest we could find. Turns out, it was basically a motel for people who drank too much and needed to stay the night. There were no windows, no dressers, no storage, when you showered the entire bathroom got wet, 90% of the entire room was the queen size bed. The people at the front desk knew exactly who we were when we checked in because I assume no one has ever stayed there for more than a night. BUT we were out and about the whole week anyway, and were so exhausted by the time we got back that falling asleep was no problem.
Aside from seeing most of the city of London for our engagement photos, we saw Buckingham Palace, Stonehenge, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, Abbey Road, the Hatfield House and so much more. Such a fun trip but I wish we knew how easy it was to take a plane/train to nearby countries!
However, my faaaaavorite part of the trip was the official Warner Bros. Studio Tour of The Making of Harry Potter! Every HP fan has to go. It was, dare I say, magical.
